Join Kelly Kopp as he interviews Captain, and holder of the world record for fastest flight from New York to London: Leslie Scott!
Kelly asks Leslie about his record breaking flight. Who all was involved, how much planning it took, and the historic flight across the Atlantic.
Leslie teaches Kelly about the sound barrier. What it means to break the sound barrier, the ramifications of doing so, and just how fast you'd have to move to do so.
Kelly learns about the production of the Concord, it's history and why it stopped flying. He also learns about Leslie's history: Where he was born, how he became a pilot, how he met his wife, and where he lives now.
Leslie reminisces on the famous passengers he had while he was flying the concord. He talks about what Madonna had to say to him, What the Beetles brought with them on the plane, passengers who used it as a subway from New York to London and a famous passenger who's in jail now!
But above all else; Leslie Scott is a New Yorker.
